"As a parent, sending my daughter across the world without me was a massive leap of faith. I did not know what to expect and I was very nervous. I am so glad that I didn't allow my fears to limit my child's opportunity to travel to Italy. Amaya came back differently. She has shown how independent she is. I have noticed that her confidence level has increased. She is braver and willing to take on more challenges in day-to-day life. She learned to handle international travel that involved a flight longer than she was used to. Amaya learned to embrace a new culture, including food and language differences. She learned lessons about traveling as part of a group and boundaries around friendship. It wasn't just a vacation; it was a very important milestone in her journey toward adulthood. To sum it up, Amaya's experience in Italy has been transformative. I would not hesitate to send her on future international trips with DT if she was interested in going."
